As industry leaders in event rentals and event production, Town & Country is at the forefront of innovative and practical ways to ensure we are working safely and delivering the highest quality of
product since the emergence of the Covid-19 virus. Although it may be some time until we see things back to “normal”, we’re committed to supporting our industry and those that we service in order to help us all get back to doing what we love most…GATHERING! Because of our passion for events and our compassion for those who work alongside us, Town & Country has outlined our initiatives for moving forward while ensuring the health and safety of our employees, our clients, and our rental equipment.
The health and safety of our clients and staff has always been and will continue to be of the
utmost importance to our organization. We have implemented the following safety procedures:
We have restricted access to our offices and warehouses, checking temperatures of all staff upon arrival to work daily, as well as distributing and requiring that masks, gloves, and other PPE be worn wherever we may be.
Handwash stations have been placed throughout our warehouses, and proper social distancing requirements are being adhered to while working.
T&C has deployed several Health Safety Officers who will guarantee staff members are always following our safe work guidelines. Delivery trucks will be sanitized daily before each route, and hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed in each truck for staff to utilize while handling equipment on site.
We have implemented and trained staff on certain contactless delivery procedures
such as processing all paperwork, payments, and terms of service via email, fax or phone prior to delivery to mitigate unnecessary interaction upon delivery.
T&C has also appointed an in-house Infection Mitigation Coordinator who will have the primary role of working with our clients to understand the health and safety needs of their events and ensuring we are doing our part to meet those requirements. This position will also be essential in the training of our crew members so you may feel comfortable that we have instilled our policies in all those that you encounter.
All Town & Country rental equipment will continue to be properly cleaned and sanitized prior to delivery. After washing, all dishware, glassware, flatware, and catering equipment will be packaged and sealed with a “no tamper” sticker or plastic wrap to ensure it has not been handled directly since being sent out.
Delivery personnel will carry disinfectant kits to wipe down all hard equipment prior to departing the job site and other disinfectant techniques will be implemented to clean surfaces like tenting canvas and components.
T&C has partnered up and will be offering broader disinfectant spraying services for events to disinfect entire spaces before guest arrival.
You can feel confident that Town & Country is doing everything in our power to not only combat this virus and keep us safe, but to also do our part in bringing back our industry which has been so heavily affected as of recent.
